Hore is well known for her novels that interweave vivid historical accounts with present day settings. Her latest novel is The Silent Tide, which evokes the world of London publishing past and present and connects the lives of two young women with an interest in a great English novelist.

Hore worked for many years in London publishing before moving with her family to Norwich where she teaches publishing at the University of East Anglia. She is also author of The Glass Painter’s Daughter, The Memory Garden, A Place of Secrets, and The Dream House.
