The Mayor of London Boris Johnson is to appear at a post-festival event in October to talk about his new book about Winston Churchill.
Johnson, a former MP for Henley-on-Thames in Oxfordshire and one of the most high-profile Conservative politicians in the UK, will explore the legacy of Britain’s great wartime leader when he speaks at Blenheim Palace on Friday, October 31..

Boris Johnson explores the legacy of Sir Winston Churchill in his new book, The Churchill Factor: How One Man Made History. Churchill was born at Blenheim Palace and was buried next door to the palace at the Church of St Martin, Bladon.
Johnson explores what made ‘the Churchill Factor’ portraying, with his characteristic wit and passion, a man of many contradictions; one who was brave, breathtakingly eloquent, a consummate strategist and yet had deep humanity.
Boris Johnson was elected Mayor of London in May 2008. He is a former editor of the Spectator and former MP for Henley-on-Thames in Oxfordshire.
