Francesca Kay

Novelist and winner of the Orange Award for New Writers Francesca Kay is preacher at this year’s festival service at St Mary Magdalen Church. The event is free to attend and no ticket is required.

Kay’s latest novel, The Long Room, was published in January.  Her first, An Equal Stillness, won the Orange Award for New Writers and was nominated for the Authors’ Club First Novel Award and for Best First Book in the Commonwealth Writers’ Prize (Europe and South Asia Region). Her second novel, The Translation of the Bones, was longlisted for the Orange Prize for Fiction.
