Ticket priceItalian actor and star of the Inspector Montalbano television series Luca Zingaretti reads from Giuseppe Tomaso di Lampedusa’s short story Lighea with musical accompaniment.
Zingaretti is well-known for his role playing Inspector Montalbano in the Italian mystery series based on the novels of Andrea Camilleri.
The series has been shown widely abroad including in the UK by BBC Four in its popular Saturday evening imported drama slot.
While Zingaretti is best known for playing Montalbano, he has also starred in many Italian films and is one of the most in-demand Italian actors.
Zingaretti will read from the Italian and there will be translation facilities for non-Italian speakers.
Presented by the Italian Cultural Institute.
