******** If someone had commissioned me, or Picasso, or Turner to creat a more miserable, bleak, wet, cold, grey morning, I don’t think any amount of money or digital affects could realistically reflect what’s staring in at me right now through my windows…
So thank goodness for the festival - a production of Midsummer’s Night Dream to kick off the last day of the festival, Simon Callow on Orson Welles, Maureen Lipman as a jazz baby and Blenheim itself to counter the grimness.
